Buy HCG.TSE / HMCBF (beware OTC volume) PE TTM 36.6* Morningstar - Berkshire tried to buy 40% (Shareholders shut them out at 20%) of the company after a run on the bank frenzy (due to underwriting concerns) during Summer. Company took a loss for the Q2 but has returned to profitability in Q3. Leadership is new but has plenty of experience. PE looks high but when looking at previous years profits and the current market cap of around 1billion the value lighbulb comes on; debt is very manageable. I think Berkshire likes what they see and it meets deep value criteria; I went long at 14.26CAD.
