very nice, Berney. Thanks kudos for CSCO, but I think we could have thrown a dart, as it turns out, and gone short this week !
More proud of my DAI short on Tuesday - as that one was a calculated arbitrage bet that the DAX would go down in response to the DOW, and there was little or no volume or interest in DAI or DAX-component ADR's. Hence the options (DAINN FEB 70 PUTs) were cheap at 1-3/4x1-7/8 and more than doubled in value when DAI went from ~73 on Tuesday to open at ~69 this morning.
I wish I had done more that 20 contracts; and I wish I had held it until today, as I settled for +16% net "scalping" gain on Thursday morning.
The markets are driving one another, so I'm trying to adapt and trade on this phenomena rather than earnings, etc.
BTW, I've gained 7 pounds since I came over to the States for holidays! Never relaized how much I loved American food (^_^)
