I said we are riding ourselves. I did not say the job is done. India is getting better.

The reason India is having so many problems with their democracy is because it is over populated and most people are still very uneducated.

Democracy does not do so well in uneducated societies e.g. the Philippines . It does best when the population is educated e.g. Nordic countries.. The election of Trump is the perfect example what happens when low information voters pick a president :)>.

If I hear one more word about the equality of Viking women I will set my hair on fire -lol.

Tell me exactly how much equality those Viking women had. Do you know?

And even if they had it , it was an exception and I am speaking to the vast majority of women that have been subjugated and beat down for all of history and by every religion, until recent times.

Education is the key to their emancipation and opportunity for the first time in history for self actualization.

India is the largest democracy on earth, still has caste systems in rural India and probably still practices it to a degree in the cities though not as openly, is arguably one of the most racist democracy's towards its own people and women in India have fewer rights then probably women in many eastern European countries.

Viking women have arguably had more rights then women of other cultures throughout history and back then I don't believe they were democratic societies. I am not sure you can prescribe this enlightenment to simply whether a government is democratic or not.
