Are repeated attacks on relative nobodies like LaVar Ball and Marshawn Lynch designed to help Roy Moore by stirring up white voters in AL?

I'm not asking whether such attacks would actually help Moore ... I don't think so. But I suspect a lifelong NY liberal like the President does think AL whites are some monolithic bunch of racists and that attacks on a few blacks would get them stirred up.
