Guess we'll know next December! However, no matter what the general market does, it seems obvious to me that there are two slam-dunk sectors: INTERNET TELEPHONY AND Y2K FIXITS. Like you, and most others here, I think FTEL is going to be a big winner in 98 and a major player in 99. The Y2K stuff just seems like too much smoke and mirrors to me....talk about a sector susceptible to vaporware...geez, those guys scare me too death!
Anyway, being optimistic by nature I'll hypothize that maybe a radical down turn will be benefical to FTEL-- as more folks become jaded with their current investments and start to look for a sector that is growing--, that business and consumers alike, if there is a squeeze on, will look for cost cutting areas.....maye they'd like to save some money on their phone bills :-)
