I have no idea what you are talking about.

The ancient Greeks were the smartest people on earth until just recently, and they were the ones to first put forth ideas like ethics and Republics.

After their demise by the Republicans of the day-lol, there was not a single person I could find for at least 1400 years to compare with anyone of many many ancient Greeks like Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Lucretius, Epicurus, etc.

The west used what the Ancient Greeks figured out for centuries after words and to the present day.
