This country needs engineers and Dr's, not Existentialists. A good education benefits one no matter what field they enter. An inquisitive mind is an asset. I know many great businesspeople that have degrees in philosophy, theology, or drug dealing....One of the great features of the US is that people do not pigeon holed early in life....options stay open. That said, I do think we need far more options for young people to get trade school educations.
