So funny how you inadvertently overlook the most important shortcoming in the middle east which can only be solved by philosophers as I was alluding to:

Democracy, civil rights, the rule of a modern law, norms and mores, especially for women and gays and modern social systems replacing the 7th century culture they still live under with a modern 21st century culture.

We are fools to attack Iran. The kids are of a western mind and will barely speak to their parents, but an attack like we are doing helps the hard liners. Something Trump and the Republicans seem oblivious to!

Have you been to the Middle East? They are building entire smart cities. Dubai is not being built by philosophers....

Countries like Iran with super smart, young engineers are screwed up because they are governed by secular beliefs and philosophies.

Saudi Arabia is getting ready to take out Iran with US and Israels help... mostly over differing philosophies.....

Perhaps you can share some compelling links supporting the need for more philosophers...

The only people beating the drum for more philosphers are philosophers....

Most places want welders, builders, engineers, doctors.
