I guess we'll see what happens with ORCL. I think it's a good invetsment and they are still one of the most highly recommended companies. I think their future earnings will justify their high P/E at the current time.
As the company said the application sales slowdown was a "blip". They expect it to continue at a torrid pace. On one hand Microsoft already warned about a slowdown while ORCL stated that the outlook is bright. Maybe investors should have looked at Microsoft's warning a little more carefully. But then again who knows. Only time will tell.
