If you believe that the stock is going to the $70.00 --what would be your reason for not shorting it.. Maybe you lack the conviction--i don't understand.

Perhaps you misunderstand what I have said. Absent a long term supply agreement, the stock is going to $60, and will break to the $70's soon. I have sold 100% of my holdings, but will reenter under appropriate conditions. I do not short stocks, and have no reason to play the downside. Selling is part of controlling risk, and shorting is pretty much the opposite. A short has news risk and takeover risk, neither of which I care to be exposed to.

The short answer to your "why" questions is that I do not short stocks. I invest in stocks, and shorting a stock is not investing. Is not part of my playbook.
