Hi Sam,

Not really.

If you are a corporation,and you sell an asset THAT HAS BEEN OWNED FOR LONGER THAN 12 MONTHS - IT STILL IS REGULAR INCOME.

This was why many corporations that had long term real estate switched into Sub chapter S corporations.

After a many year holding pattern the (8-10 years as I recall) long held assets could be sold and taxed as
capital gains.
