Trump's former National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn, has plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia and is cooperating with the Special Counsel

My guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the Special Counsel’s Office reflect a decision I made in the best interests of my family and of our country. I accept full responsibility for my actions,” Flynn said.

Flynn admitted as a part of his plea that when the FBI asked him on Jan. 24 — four days after Donald Trump was inaugurated — about his dealings with the Russians, he did not truthfully describe the interactions. But perhaps more interestingly, he said he informed others in the transition team of each step he took.

We don't know who these people on the transition team were (although the Special Counsel does), but I'd guess it includes Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a man who can't even seem to say "Good Morning" without voluntarily perjuring himself, and like Trump tells lies even when the truth would make a better answer. Rather than continue his perjury parade, yesterday Sessions refused to answer whether Trump asked him to hinder the Russian investigation. Unfortunately for Jeff Sessions he is not Trump's White House counsel so there's no attorney-client privilege.
