Funny you brought up the IMF issue Yiwu.

I tell you why, I listened to someone today from the American Enterprise Institute in Washington saying pretty much the same thing. He is of the opinion that IMF might be doing more harm than good when they involve themselves whenever there is an economic problem. He thinks it is better in the long run if the 'free market' is allowed to run its course even though it might involve bankruptcies of large corporations etc etc.

I think this line of thinking may have some validity in it,as quick fixes often do not work while there remains fundamental economic problems.

Any thoughts anyone????
