Mayfield is being compared to... Russell Wilson. Not bad company. But it's a long way to draft time and we've not yet seen Mayfield in the so-called NCAA post-season yet, let alone the combines.
I thought Philly would come in and make a statement on national TV. In retrospect, it apparently was the Seahawks who had something to prove. I guess the Eagles overlooked the Seahawks in preparation for the new look Geno Smith led Giants in two weeks. Yeah, the more I think about it, the more this makes sense. In fact, now that I've written this, it's not open to debate. Oh, and I just fact-checked myself.
BTW, on a totally different topic: I've picked every single game against the spread this year. The only games I've lost are the ones I've missed here on SI. What are the odds of this? If not for this contest, I'd be perfect. Once again, I've fact-checked this myself so there's no debate here. Just figured I'd mention this before you did. No need to now, but thanks for offering.
