Wayne: AER licensed some technology from the "DEMI" corp, which went bankrupt and resurfaced as "Zinc Air Power/Battery Company". Answers to other questions:
1. BASS capital infusion: No one knows. Ask Bob Bass. 2. The two big OEMS's (HP and Toshiba) didn't integrate AER's batteries into their products, they just offered then as add-ons and both products bombed. No one bought them. 3. Mercury News: From what JQC found out, it was an insider ploy to boost the stock price, but failed. Ask him for details about the 2 hour lag between a huge buy order by an insider and the public announcement. 4. AER, in my opinion, is in no position at all to buy anything. They need to learn how to do what they are trying to do first.
Summary: In my opinion, within 12-24 months this company will be history. No product, no customers, no useful technology, no sales, no earnings, a disaster at best. But watch what happens as we near the COMDEX show in November..... |
