bdog,

As of Friday's close, GTAX scores a 50 on the 56 point TA with the CCI as the weakest indicator right now at a subscore of 5 (note: there will always be a weakest one). Within the moving average group (subscore 6), the MACD is all that is misbehaving but it tends to be a trailing indicator so this group is nearly a 7. The RSI, SMI and stochastics groups each score 6. Each of them could move to 7 in less than a week. The pos.neg.volume/accumulation/moneyflow/OBV, MA/MLR and Bollinger Band groups each score 7.

49 is a very good score considering the market this week. I deem any stock that scores 50 or above as having a chart with an attitude so GTAX is on the cusp. Charts with an attitude have a tendency to just take off. I used to use 47 as the defining score but I moved it to 50 to weed out false positives. Using 50 increases false negatives but it greatly increases the success rate of the system.
