Seems like this season, every week has looked like that to me... <ng> ...
however, I confess that this season, my first as a retired person, I haven't paid as close attn to all things NFL as I used to... and it shows when it comes to picking every week -- not that my scores were any better the last few years, but I'd put more thought into my picks and still failed... <ng>...
oh well... it really boils down -- for me -- to how well I judge very specific teams each year, you know, those .500 teams that nobody wants to play and win the games they shouldn't while losing those they should... in seasons where I figured those teams out, I did way better...
this season, there are a lot more of them and it seems like I have no idea what the Redskins, Jets, Buffalo, Miami, KC, Oakland, Dallas, AZ, Detroit, Green Bay, Tampa Bay and even Atlanta are really about -- esp. if any of them play each other -- impossible for me to decide and my coin flipping this season has defied probability where I'm "guessing" wrong over 75% of the time it seems like... oh woe is me... poor, poor pitiful me... <ggg> |
