Why would they not include Type A, is my question. These days, with worldwide travel, we are exposed to almost everything.

I recall reading about this years ago and perhaps the lead time has shortened, but I recall that they had to begin preparing the vaccines almost a year ahead of schedule ( I think it incubates in eggs) and they project what strains of flu mat be present and base the vaccine on that. It seems that some years they guess wrong. Oh well, I got my shot about 3 hours ago...
