LOL! Bob Brinker has done a radio talk show since (he says) 1986 - that was when he went national. He used to do Moneytalk both Saturday and Sunday, but is now on Sunday afternoons only.

He bills himself as America's most trusted financial advisor and sells a monthly newsletter called Marketimer. He posted here on SI back in the late 1990's under an alias touting a stock that he had insider connections with.

After he was found out, he changed his alias in hopes of disguising his identity and just a couple of years ago decided he would fool everyone if he created a whole new profile on the alias. LOL!

All of his 100s of posts are still here, but I lay a bit low about it because I want them to stay here. However, I have them all backed up to disk.

Is he to be trusted? Only on some of the basics of investing, but that isn't what he has made 25 million dollars selling. He sells market-timing snake oil.

He and his son (who also posted on SI as Bob Jr) both use the same name now because the son began selling his own newsletter about 12 years ago. He sells them to people who think he is the "famous" talk show host.

IMO, they are such shysters, someone needs to at least keep the truth available. That is why I do my financial blog. The link is in my profile.
