Doug,

From the KINDA TENDS TO GET OVERLOOKED DEPT.: I don't know if it was you that put this one on the MIM ... BO Volume Watch, but its action on Friday was eye-popping.
I have the same reservations about it, however, that I had to FAXX' breakout and to DAVE as a cat signal. If you look at the five-minute charts, you'll see long pauses followed by sudden waves of buying. That to me signals one of two very unattractive things: 1) MM control: They're filling orders but storing the release of info (which is legal) for their own evil purposes and timing; or 2) There are only a few players in the game, and by buying after them, I'm essentially getting front-run, which is the last place in the world I want to be.
After excruciating experience, I've decided never again to sit in some inert micro-cap and wait for action like a frog hoping to get kissed and become royalty. That's one of the fears that helped me get out of CADE, ATPX, SEEQ, and ROMT, and, to a lesser extent RECY. They were all attractive to me at high volumes. When trading dried up, I got the willies bigtime.
The Volume Rap:
And brothers, once again,
Volume is key,
Not just for loss and gain,
but li-quid-i-ty.
