Sanctions on Iran (the only ME country we put sanctions on, I believe) have nothing to do with some imaginary scheme to raise prices. American sanctions on Iran go back to 1979 and since then prices have gone up and down and up and down, a bunch of times.

Maybe next you're going to say the sanctions placed on Russia during the Obama era were a scheme to raise prices. After all, Russia produces a LOT more oil and natural gas than Iran. But wait, that would be the wrong party for you to accuse, I'll bet.

Warning, I'm not going to let you degrade this thread with too much partisan crap - there are threads you can do that on if you want. Not here. I don't ban on sight, but I will ban posters if their posting becomes a distraction for the thread topic.
