Her line was fleeting as sibe mentioned. It was in response to a
question about her picks for 1998. She mentioned she liked
PeopleSoft because of their core business as well as their ability
to address "the so-called Year 2000 problem". That was the
extent of any mention of Y2K on Wall Street Week last night.

Your interest in exactly what this woman said about Y2K made me
recall your post some time ago about a taping you were involved
in I think in New York. I searched for your old post, but couldn't find
it. As I remember, you described an incredibly powerful woman well
connected on Wall Street whose recommendations move markets.
You said she was clueless about Y2K.

Someone guessed Elaine Garzarelli, but you said no, she wasn't
the one.

Looks like your mystery woman is beginning to see the light, eh?
