Apparently you're wrong about Iran's ability to get its production back up:


For a couple decades before sanctions, Iran's oil exports were about 2.5M bpd/ (Note: Production - Domestic use = Exports) While 2.5M bpd is nothing to sneeze at, the global oil market is nearly 100M bpd and the biggest 3 producers produce in the range of 10M bpd each.

The ME is unstable and there long have been and will be periodic wars and civil wars. Even in states that don't produce much oil. It's not all about some conspiracy.
