Yes, it's a shame I remember watching CNN all the time after 9/11. Their reporting was superb. But now, I can barely stand to watch it. All I see are a bunch of idiots spouting speculation and propaganda. It's all opinion all the time. As for real news with carefully edited FACTS, there is none. No wonder the libs have gone apeshit. If I was fed a steady diet of propaganda and conspiracy theories, I'd think the world was going to end because of Trump as well.
Everyone believes they are unbiased. Everyone believes they can withstand propaganda. However, as Hitler's chief Nazi propagandist, Joseph Goebbels, used to say:
A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth. CNN has decided, along with the NYT and MSNBC, to use the tenets of Goebbels to deceive the people. The reason is that CNN is populated by liberals who hate Trump so much they think it is more important to take Trump down rather than to perform the sacred duty of journalists, which is to safeguard our Democracy through the unbiased reporting of facts. Unfortunately, facts are boring. Salacious things like the Russian Dossier and a huge conspiracy with Russia to manipulate the election sells ad space. So CNN becomes a fake news outlet to create the echo chamber of nonsense that the masses want.
