Hi Ten,
as you know, I voted for Trump, because I wanted the wrecking ball to shake up the establishment on both sides of the aisle. We're getting that, so I'm getting what I paid for. However, I knew it would come with costs...chaos theory and randomness. When you put in a random variable, all sorts of unintended consequences happen.

For example, Trump on North Korea and Trump on Jerusalem are worrying the hell out of me. On the one hand, North Korea is a very real threat, but we have Russia and China on their northern border. Never have I seen so clearly the possibility of world war three breaking out, with a high probability of nuclear weapons being used. Even if Trump does eliminate the NK threat through war, millions of people will die. Surely there must be a third path where few, if any die. Then with Jerusalem, what did the US get out of that move? We got nothing in exchange for inflaming 1.5 billion Muslims against us, as if they weren't already completely pissed at us. These are examples of what an unhinged President could do to bring the whole facade crashing down on us.

I'm worried. I don't often agree with Brumar, especially on climate change, but he may be right about Trump. Maybe we do need for Congress and Trump's cabinet to use the 25th Amendment to get Pence to be President. I think we'd have far more stability, predictability, and a conservative in the White House to boot. Then again, it would be a return to the establishment, which I despise. So how long should the GOP let the Trump experiment continue to disrupt things?

As the ancient Chinese curse says, "May you live in interesting times."
