Hi, Bobby!
Here is another piece of news for you. I hope ORCL price will hit the bottom soon (or did it already?). There is no question about positive correlation between overall market performance and ORCL price. But
in my opinion, ORCL is oversold now. If the market will bounce ORCL will just fly. There are not so many quality companies around.

Moreover, ORCL has first mover advantage in NC market. As soon as people (analysts) start realize huge potential of this market things will go better. I don't think NC potential is factored in into ORCL share price.

Just my thoughts. Enjoy the article.

Alex.

Oracle's Network Computer Unit Sells Software to Bell Canada

Las Vegas, Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Oracle Corp.'s Network
Computer Inc. said Bell Canada bought software that lets
Internet, cable TV and satellite broadcasters develop
customized television programming for subscribers.

Custom Connect Server Suite, which Oracle introduced at
the Computer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, lets companies
develop e-mail systems, program guides and other interactive
services that can be accessed through TV sets, NCI said.
''With Custom Connect Server Suite any access provider
can tap into the growing Internet community by building
their own enhanced TV service,'' said Wei Yen, president of
Network Computer, in a statement.

Both companies declined to say how much Bell Canada
will pay NCI for the software.

NCI is also negotiating to sell software to cable
operators such as Tele-Communications Inc., Time Warner Inc.
and US West Media Group for their next-generation digital
set-top boxes, Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison said.

Bell Canada, Canada's largest phone company, said it
will use the software to fuel its expansion into the
entertainment-delivery business.
''Using custom connect server, we will be able to
leverage our broad-band network to provide flexible,
competitively priced and advanced solutions to our
customers,'' said David Southwell, Bell Canada's chief
technology officer.

The move is part of Bell Canada's drive to invest in
technologies that will boost traffic over its networks as
competitors take market share away from its long-distance
and local phone businesses.

Bell is currently test marketing new Internet
television and cable TV services.

Network Computer is owned by Oracle and Netscape
Communications Corp.
