Murphy is speculating that Merck will file for FDA approval its (Merck's) AIDS vaccine this year. To file for FDA approval, I believe that Phase III must be completed by Merck. I would be very cautious with Murphy, he's been wrong a lot in the past year. Also, spikes caused by BW articles tend to decline rapidly after the story is published, so I wouldn't be suprised to see VICL at $14 by weeks end (unless we see more news). However, if VICL can hold above $14 this week, I would see that as a positive sign. Also, volitility in the market will probably continue next week as in addition to the problems with Asia, we also have options expirations friday. --Tony
