So who wins in this deal and who loses?

WDC loses in this deal. It is a deferred loss, and while they will now survive and still thrive, they will not do as well as they otherwise would have done. In other words, their future is less rosy than it was before this all started. That said, I added to positions this morning, following yesterday's option purchase and after hour equity purchases.
