I've never understood the appeal of Sanders. He stayed in the race long after he knew he had a zero chance of winning and prevented the party from coming together after a bruising primary. After Hillary lost to Barack she stopped campaigning and threw her support behind him. Why didn't Sanders act like an adult? In the end, it was the relentless coverage of Trump that destroyed Hillary and Sanders. They couldn't get a headline unless they talked about Trump. The media was and remains obsessed with that man. If you were to ask any American what Sanders or Clinton wanted to do 99% would have no idea. Look at the Jones/Moore campaigns. Moore was in the news every single day. Jones, the normal guy couldn't get a headline no matter what he did. I didn't see a single story on what Jones stood for on MSNBC. Same with Sanders and Clinton. I'd bet 99% of Jones' voters have no idea what he stands for. It's where we are as a country. Facts don't matter anymore and they haven't mattered for a very long time. This Wall Street crap is bull pucky. Winning campaigns need deep pockets and unless you're willing to give a lot of money and get others to give a lot of money the liberal you seek has no chance of winning. But it's not only money. That person has to be able to control the media or the media will ignore them. They ignored Clinton, Sanders, and Jones. They ignore anyone who isn't a criminal or pathological liar.
