What services have you received from healthcare providers in the last few years that you think are immune to drastic cost reduction?

In the last year I had cr $170 in healthcare services that could by present day technology been rendered for essentially free, but I'll be generous and allow $1 for them, which gives a ratio of 1:170. There is a very broad swatch of healthcare billed at outrageous amounts that by current standards could easily get 10x or 100x to 1 cost reductions. The principle problem is legal, not technical. The legal problems will be solved, and then the cost of healthcare will plummet. Thinking otherwise is whistling by the graveyard...
