Why will Bain and Apple be "crippking"? I'm not really concerned about them. They will provide cash for the JV and a customer for Toshiba. They have very little to do with WDC, in a sense at least, unless they try to run the fab, which I am pretty sure they won't do.

My concern is their technology leaking to either Korea or China.
