You are blaming Rubin for the currency trouble in indonesia.

Fact: Rubin is very in favor of a strong US currency.
He has been ever since he got in office.

Fact: US Dollar strenth/stabality (read low inflation moderate growth) contributed to all of the currency problems going on now.

Question: Will Rubin let Greenspan lower intrestrates (read weaken the Dollar) to save the global economey ?

I do not know the answer to this one.

As for IMF policies, Fact: the IMF is quickly running out of money.

As for my target for the US market,

I think it is very posible we could see a 1929-1935 type of decline.
Yes DELL would be affected by this decline. One of the main reasons I think it is posible is that there are many like yourself that think I am looney to even be thinking this. (read, they think it is imposible for the market to have a protracted decline because things are different now)

Nothing Changes but the Date and the Weather.
Markets often do what few expect.
