Neolib,
There are currently trained systems that will beat expert Radiologists for specific conditions.
Which conditions? Who gets to decide? What about other conditions that may be related but isn't part of what said "trained system" is meant to detect?
Which is why I expect the USA to lag other countries like China, who BTW recently did the first fully autonomous dental implant surgery.
You mean this one?

Look at how many medical professionals are present in that room. That's not "fully autonomous" to me, and there's no way such a system will ever be deployed without at least a few humans present.

For example, which "robot" did the prep work? Which "robot" administered the numbing agents? Which "robot" put all of that stuff into the patient's mouth? Which "robot" even decided that dental surgery was necessary?

Come on, Neolib, you are oversimplifying the entire process thinking that it can all be automated. That's typical of people who like to make grandiose predictions of AI taking over everything without considering all of the complexities.

(Come to think of it, that's also typical of liberals who think government can manage economies, take over health care, and figure it all out much more efficiently than the free market can.)
