Not really. You and I may be defining the right thing in a different way. I want the President to do the right thing, which to me means ensuring the US gets something out any action it takes on the foreign stage. We should have received a tangible benefit for backing Israel on Jerusalem. Read some of my other posts on this topic. I agree that Israel is more compatible with the US as an ally. We share the same values. We do NOT share the same values with Middle East Muslims and I have stated repeatedly on these threads that Islam and Sharia law are very backwards and stand almost diametrically opposed to Christian values in many ways. Only political correctness makes it so that most Americans can say that out loud, but it is true nonetheless. So I like that he did it, but I wish he would have figured out a way to get a benefit for the US out of tossing that bargaining chip away.

As for NK, I've posted a response to Tenchusatsu that answers that question. I am very conflicted on NK and don't believe I have an answer to that horrible dilemma. But I am fearful we are sleep walking to WWIII with NK.
