Why did Carl Johnson leave out Cymer from his latest TechInvestor article? I emailed him yesterday asking that very question and here's his response. Can anybody make sense of the "issues" he's talking about? Hello Melkon, Thanks for the note. I know a lot about Cymer. I also know the scientists and the company that licensed them the technology to sell excimer lasers, and their current situation. I believe there are a number of issues to be resolved between them and the major lithography tool vendors. They are certainly an important participant in the move to DUV but not the company I would invest in at this time.
