FT: If the suits are initiated as "harassment" suits, I agree with you.
However, lets look at a scenerio.
what if people here, are in fact short.
lets say that the squeeze comes off.
what about the people who sold their stock, because of what the nays said?
and it turns out they were manipulated because of these shorters not wanting to lose money.
class action suits have been brought against people who manipulated stocks on the upside.. This is the reverse side of that coin.
I say again..harassment suits are wrong...but there is a real possibility that people have "lost" money
because of things that were said here.
Now, whether or not "opportunity" costs are measureable or not, I haven't a clue.
At any rate, I guess we'll see next week what's gonna be with the stock. al
