Jeff, don't feel bad on the ASND day trade attempt yesterday. I managed to squeak out of a PAIR trade attempt with an 1/8 loss. Trying to day-trade yesterday was like flying a kamikaze mission! My favorites for '98 are: (From 1/9 prices) 1/9 PRICE PE ('98) COMMENTS ACTL 11 1/8 11 now has reprogrammable (SFPGA). Cheap valuation vs. ALTR & XLNX. ALTR 29 3/4 16 EPLD Leader. 30% growth ASND 26 3/16 21 See previous 10K posts. CS 13 1/2 13 Too cheap COMS 30 1/8 19 Valuation, good entry point CPQ 56 15/16 26 Mkt. Leader. 2:1 split 1/20 LSI 19 7/8 15 ASIC Leader ORCL 18 3/4 18 Selling overdone. Core holding. PAIR 16 25 70% share HDSL. Little ASIA exposure SUNW 40 7/8 16 A tech stable at a great $$. and maybe... AMAT & KLAC in semi-equip. and if you're really brave DD stocks :QNTM, SEG, WDC, APM, & RDRT.
