The more you post about Charlotte, the more I contemplate ... Having just lost one dog and being left with another senior is testing my take on dog ownership. Is it fair to expose a senior to a likely much younger addition? Is it wise to take on another 10 or 15 years of responsibility given that the dog may very well outlive me?
