I have only ONE rule for posting and that is to be courteous and respectful of other posters...
AND THEN, I give the offender THREE warnings BEFORE I ban them...
So, thanks, but no thanks... you just walked into the middle of a long movie and you have no idea what it's like to keep order among numerous posters... I have many hundreds of posters posting and following my threads and that's only because I remove the trash at the REPEATED requests of other posters who find comments repeatedly offensive, insulting, and argumentative...
I don't ban because I disagree with a poster, I ban because the poster repeatedly ignores the one simple rule of common courtesy...
As well, I've also unbanned many posters and they've behaved very well... so, I do unban, but not because someone out of nowhere with no legitimate understanding offers an unfounded and ill placed suggestion...
I already told you that if SI wanted to impose a time limit on bans, then I have no problem with that as long as it applies to ALL moderated threads... until then, good luck with your ban thread, I've seen enough...
