I did know what you meant in the original question. That is why I played it safe, saying that I wanted to wait to see the early Ph2 data. I do know that Mark Erion was involved in the discovery of the molecules you mentioned. He is a very good med chemist, having now moved on to MRK in a big position. My med chem colleagues have a lot of respect for the Harvard trained Dr. Erion. At least one called him a genius.

I wish that I had access to the long term tox reports. I would look at liver and kidney findings carefully if any. Do you know if there is a Data Monitoring Safety Board Committee for the NASH compound, and when those safety readouts will be?
