Let's begin with some basic ideas we both agree on. Republicans vote for people who hate government and then do everything in their power to make it not work for average Americans. It works great for the rich who get whatever they want because they buy them. Once we accept this fact we can ask why republican want a government run by people who refuse to govern responsibly. You spoke of FEMA when a republican ran it. Everyone agrees it was run poorly and the man running it was fired after Katrina. You then say, see, look how bad things are. What you should be saying is OMG, I voted for someone who ran FEMA into the ground, I won't make that mistake again. Since I gave you FEMA as an agency what worked under Democrat presidents such as Presidents Clinton and Obama and you gave me an example of it being broke under a republican the problem is the republican, not the agency. When republcians stop voting for morons and men who break every law on the books we can repair the damage they caused. But we can't do that until you realize you are the problem and you do something about it.
