Musky/Tay has been presenting to the moon and back posts for years. Some posters take his posts literally and simply await the day we all become billionaires. Others affectionately love his positivity, value his input and take what he has to say with a grain of salt. I have no problem with the typical posts Musky is known for.

But when he and his followers start slagging Discern’s analysis and daring him to ‘take me on’ that is a move to divide this community. It has the following effects;

A. Moves us towards censoring any type of post that expresses concern about the company’s direction. At this point many of us are demanding answers and accountability from management, and pretending we are worth +$1000 per share without a willingness to entertain legitimate investor concerns is blind enthusiasm. The outcome will undermine legitimate due diligence.

B. Begins to move us on a path to divisiveness among a group of (Zen) investors who have done an admirable job of collectively maintaining a sense of community and togetherness in the face of adversity over the past 4-5 years. We do a lot of sharing here (ideas, opinions, even activism), which will be less effective once we are at each other’s throats.

C. And finally it reeks of a small group of us orchestrating collective bullying (and I realize I am equally guilty of slagging bashers from time to time on the Free Speech board, but I rationalize it because they are long standing bullies who deserve a good bashing because that is all they ever serve up themselves) .
