Knowing that the feds have transcripts and e-mails keeps his testimony truthful. One charge of lying is enuf. Rumor has it that he is also trying to keep his son out of jail, so he has reason to be honest.

Will it come down to Flynn vs Trump, a confessed perjurer vs a pathological liar? No; Mueller will have other witnesses and documents to corroborate or refute his statements.
