I think the Asian effect has just about been played out with this latest blow to the U.S. market. I've always felt that the effect of Asia on the overall U.S. market is minor and will be shortlived. The Asian effect should now be discounted in the market (per Bob's words). According to Bob we are on the brink of a market retest around 7400 on the Dow and 900 on the S&P500. I have been waiting for this retest and wondering if it would happen at all. Now that it looks like it could happen I'm ready to jump in with extra cash. Any more nervousness because of Asia should be regarded as helping to reach the retesting level. Then it's up up and away.
