Funk, I'm in a similar situation to you. I'm working on getting a level 2 internet-based data feed for realtick III but I don't have cable and I want much better throughput than 28.8. However, I want to be able to surf investment sites and send/receive email while I'm on Realtick III. I'm mentally handicapped when it comes to solving communications problems so my playing with routers and DSU/CSUs is not a good answer. I can't get excited about ISDN ... it's performance is too incremental. Assume I'm going to pay $300/mo for the data and that my transaction business is not part of the equation. What are my best/low-cost options for the communications? You mention a "duo dish" option. What is that? Does anyone know of any threads/newsgroups where this kind of thing is discussed?
