Photovoltaic roads is a dopey idea. So is Qualcomm's idea of having continuous Halo coils in roads. The cost is absurdly ridiculous, not just slightly bung. There's no shortage of places for photovoltaics. To recharge vehicles, do it when they are having downtime anyway, or by swapping batteries.
