Glen, the projected prices that you posted are totally insane,
but you know what: you might be right, Friday's price are insane too.

For some reason companies that loose $1 or $3 per share and are expected to loose money for several more years can fetch $80 per share and companies that are making more than $1 per share are can reasonably be expected to earn 30 to 80% more next year trade at PEs of 9.

From all that i can see, our companies have most their rigs contracted at high dayrates for 6 months to 3 years from now. I haven't seen any contracts cancled. I haven't seen any major oil companies saying: "Crude prices will go down for ever, we will not be looking for any more oil.

Does anyone know if rig leases can be cancled? If not, future earnings are pretty much in the bag, right?
