Krassimir Ivandjiiski's son, 39-year-old Daniel Ivandjiiski moved to the US for college and armed with an undergraduate degree in biology and barred from working in the securities business (after being convicted of insider trading in his twenties) has always written ZeroHedge with a much lighter touch of Putin-inspired propaganda because it's targeted to a more sophisticated group of dupes. Like Russia's Facebook advertisements the aim is to exploit perceived divisions and distrust within American society.
A self-claimed former ZeroHedge employee, Colin Lokey, has said Tim Backshall, a 46-year-old credit derivatives strategist also writes for ZeroHedge. But ZeroHedge has denied this, calling Colin Lokey, "an emotionally unstable, psychologically troubled alcoholic with a drug dealer past, as per his own disclosures." - businessinsider.com
So whether Daniel Ivandjiiski has the assistance of Tim Backshall or others or not - how does unemployed Daniel Ivandjiiski pay for ZeroHedge and his apartment? The paymaster is almost certainly the Russian FSB, either directly or indirectly the Russian FSB, the same service which supports his father's website.
