A few years ago, I was riding my motorcycle through the Ozarks....beautiful morning, when I got popped by a Missouri State Patrol. I pulled over, and he got out smiling.....he said I was going a little fast and that he had to give me a ticket, I said no problem....then I tried to change the subject by saying how beautiful the area was, etc. The trooper said "Yeah, but you know what's really nice? No fucking niggers." I said...hmm, really? He said "Yep, they know not to come into this area.....this day would have been whole lot different for you if you had been a darkie."

I'm from that general area, and know those feelings are real, just never see them on display like that very often.
