Mark Cuban could beat DJT in 2020, but who, besides Hillary, couldn't?
...... PPP decided to pit Trump against billionaire Mark Cuban in the deep red state of Texas.
In this very early poll, it was tight, but Cuban got 47 percent of the vote, to Trump’s 44 percent of the vote, among Texas voters.
Trump won 52.2 percent of the Texas vote in 2016, clinching the state’s 38 electoral votes and continuing a long tradition of Republicans winning there. The last Democratic candidate to win Texas was Jimmy Carter in 1976.
Cuban has teased a run, saying if he felt he had solutions, he’d consider it. In November, he told Fox News’ Chris Wallace that there was a 10 percent chance he’d run in 2020.
Another Public Policy Polling survey earlier this year found that he would lead Trump nationwide in a hypothetical 2020 matchup.
